Atlantic flight training academy was recommended to me by a friend. When I went to visit AFTA for the first time in September 2010, I received an introductory flight. I was very impressed with the professional approach of AFTA right from the very start. I decided to choose the Modular programme as it was the best option for me at the time as I was working part time. The advantage of the modular programme for me was that I could study in my own time. I did not need to be based there. It took me a little longer but I got there.
The professional training that I received from AFTA has built a solid Aeronautical knowledge base and excellent flying skills. I found each instructor to be approachable, friendly, dedicated and always doing their best to achieve excellent results for the student.
AFTA has some fantastic facilities with a modern fleet of aircraft and simulators. Flying out of cork was challenging but also very rewarding which I believe has helped me get to where I am today.
The ongoing support after finishing my training in helping me to start my flying career has been incredible. I have been offered a first officer position with Ryanair. I made the right decision in choosing AFTA. I am more than happy to recommend AFTA to anyone.
