John is the very first person in the country to complete this course.
John completed all his training with the hugely experienced Gerry Humphreys.
I recently completed an aerobatics rating course with AFTA. I could not recommend it highly enough. I am a PPL pilot and have always wanted to try my hand at aerobatics, mainly for fun, but also to improve my handling skills and make me a safer pilot.
It was a challenging experience, and definitely the most fun I have had in the air. You will find an incredibly experienced aerobatics pilot and instructor in Gerry Humphreys while AFTA’s Super Decathlon is a fantastic aircraft in which to learn aerobatics.
It also provided a number of other learning points including constant speed propellor handling and tailwheel flying.
