Today’s the day! We can’t wait to welcome you to the AFTA Open Day.
⚠️ Important – Physical Photo ID Required
As part of today’s event, you’ll be visiting the airside flight line, where a valid physical photo ID is a mandatory airport security requirement.
Every attendee, including guests, must bring a valid physical photo ID. Digital copies or photos of ID on your phone cannot be accepted.
Unfortunately, anyone without a valid physical photo ID will not be permitted to access the airside areas.

🕚 Arrival Information
You can arrive any time between 11:00am and 2:30pm, with the final tours commencing at 2:30pm. The Open Day finishes at 4:00pm.
No matter what time you arrive, you’ll enjoy the same Open Day experience. Most visitors spend around 2 hours with us.
During your visit you’ll have the opportunity to:

✈️ Meet our instructors and current students
Before You Attend
The AFTA Open Day is designed for prospective pilots and those seriously considering a career in commercial aviation. If you’re interested in becoming a commercial pilot, this event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about training, career pathways and life at AFTA.
Please note that the event may not be suitable for very young children (under 10 years of age).
