BA Cityflyer has anounced the launch of of a new First Officer Placement Programme, offering a work placement and sponsored training opportunity exclusively to a modular trained pilot.
Partnering with Kura Aviation, the programme is a unique opportunity, designed to progress the successful applicant towards a full time, permanent role as a BA Cityflyer first officer.
BA Cityflyer general manager Flight Operations, Captain Carl Phelan commented: “BA Cityflyer is committed to employing and supporting modular trained pilots, and so has created a new placement and sponsorship opportunity specifically designed for a modular trained pilot from the CPL/IR stage of their career.”
Applicants must hold the privileges of an EASA Commercial Pilot Licence and Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and have completed their training via the modular route.
The successful applicant will join the airline as a salaried Navigation, Weights and Performance Officer for a two year period before progressing to Kura’s BESTPILOT™ programme and Type and Line training on the Embraer 170/190 fleet, all paid for by the airline.
