Course Goal
The ATPLs are a set of 14 subjects and exams which are required for the issue of an Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence. The course is conducted over a six month duration at the Academy and candidates may participate as either full time or part time (distance learning) students. The course is split in three bi-monthly modules culminating in a set of exams at the end of each module.
All course material is delivered digitally by iPad.
All examinations are taken electronically at the EASA-approved Atlantic Flight Training Academy’s examination centre after each module. All examinations are set by the Irish Aviation Authority.

An applicant requiring to undertake the Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence theory course and exams must hold a valid EASA PPL.
