As the world and our industry responds to the impact of Covid 19 we wanted to share with you what measures we have adapted in AFTA during these unprecedented times to support our students and our future students.
Keeping up to date and investing in technological advancements to support our students on their training journey has always been a key part of our learning culture in AFTA.
Once again we have turned to technology to enable our instructors to work from the safety of their homes, so our students’ can continue to learn and progress from the safety of their homes in Ireland or abroad.
Our instructors now deliver all theoretical material online.

Our Integrated class, commenced the 14th of April, with all elements of their PPL and ATPL course work delivered online, allowing them to start their training without delay to become a pilot.

Meet our Chief Flight Instructor Captain Daniel Lynch and Training and Compliance Manager Captain Kyle Johnston, to learn all about AFTA’s training, facilities and fleet.
Deputy Head of Training Captain Gerry Humpreys will finish the seminar by sharing with us an overview of his career and what lessons he has learnt during his aviation career starting in the Royal Air Force to today as AFTA’s Deputy Head of Training and Chief AUPRT Instructor.
ONLINE ASSESSMENTS FOR OUR INTEGRATED AND RYANAIR MENTORED PROGRAMMES
· Prospective students can apply to complete their CUT-E psychometric and aptitude testing online.
· Stage two of our assessment is now an online interview with our panel.
