COMBINED MULTI ENGINE COMMERCIAL PILOTS LICENCE (CPL)
This rating allows a person to transition from single engine aircraft to twin engine aircraft which can be quite challenging. This training allows a person a certain insight into airline and multi-crew conditions.
Course Goal
The Commercial Pilots Licence will allow a person to have a flying career in aviation. It will enable them to act as a pilot in multi engine and multi pilot aircraft for airline commercial transport. The course comprises 25 hours flight training and a minimum of 20 hours theoretical tuition.
Course Syllabus
The flight training is conducted on the Cessna 172 then the Multi-Engine Piper Seneca PA-34 or Diamond DA-42 and an FNPT II simulator.
The 31 hours flying requirement are met as follows:
- 3 hours on FNPT 11T
- 13 hours on the PA34 / DA42
- 15 hours in the Cessna 172
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18
- Must hold a valid EU ( Part-MED) issued Class 1 Medical
- Must hold a valid ICAO PPL.
- EASA ATPL theory exams.
