Traffic Jam
Its been an extremely busy few days in AFTA with the good weather.
Not so nice today, but at least it allows us to catch up on some ground school work with our students.
First Solo
Congratulations to Turkish Airlines cadet Akan Fidan on completing his first solo at the academy over the weekend in G-THYA.

Kilkenny Castle
Our recently finished Air Astana class visited Kilkenny Castle this weekend, before they head home to Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
Everyone at AFTA would like to wish them a very safe journey home and the very best of luck in their future careers with Air Astana.
First Solo

A huge achievement for any pilot and very much deserved.
Modular MEIR Training
AFTA modular student Ken Gregory busy finishing his MEIR training today in GBMJO with AFTA Deputy CFI Seb Pike.
Ken is starting his new career as a first officer with Norwegian Air Shuttle in September so is right on track to be completed on time.
