February 2, 2023 | 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm GMT
AFTA has collaborated with Munster Technological University (MTU) to provide prospective pilots with a unique opportunity to complete embedded commercial pilot training as part of a level 8 degree.
The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Global Business and Pilot Studies is a blended approach to becoming a professional pilot and offers students the ability to gain a frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (fATPL) alongside an Honours Degree. This course aims to develop the business knowledge of pilots in a context closely aligned to their initial training in such a way that they benefit not only from a complementary knowledge base but also the ability to avail of a primary degree that offers them improved career opportunities.
Year One: Students will study on MTU campus
Year Two & Three: Students will undertake Commercial Pilot training at AFTA
Year Four: Complete their final year of study with MTU online whilst working
